Our nation's veterans are the backbone of our country and are the essence of the U.S. Constitution and I am a firm believer that we owe them a debt of gratitude and feel we don't do enough for them. The Office of Personnel Management should create a task force that will recruit members of the Armed Forces when leaving active duty and current veterans. As a U.S. Army veteran myself, I know that veterans' preference does not work and the government needs recruiters that will interview them face to face.
